Our story
Sand Star was created because the founders were tired of needing to micro-manage an untrustworthy general contractor — and tired of the way workers at "typical" contracting companies were treated, seen as ID tags to generate profit instead of human beings with dreams and talents.
So we formed Sand Star Services to take care of customers and team members. We're rooted in fairness and equity, with a joint focus on those around us who live, work, and play in our community.
In addition to fair pricing and timelines that fit your schedule and budget, a portion of our proceeds goes to mentoring youth in the trades connected to the services we offer — helping students realize their full occupational potential without the burden of cumbersome student loans.
